Local Methodist churches are showing off their cooking skills in two upcoming public suppers.
On Saturday, Oct. 7, the Cape Elizabeth United Methodist Church will
host a baked beans and casserole supper from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Casseroles, salads and desserts will be offered at a price of $7 for adults, $3 for children, and $20 for families (two adults plus children).
The church is located at 280 Ocean House Road.
The West Scarborough United Methodist Church public supper is Saturday, Oct. 21, from 4:30-6 p.m. Items on the menu are baked pea and kidney beans, red and brown hot dogs, American chop suey, cole slaw, molded salads, rolls and brown bread and homemade pies. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children.
The church is located on Route 1.
