Members of the Patriot Soccer Club Under 11 travel team – (from left) Riley Archer, Elijah Roe, Silas Phillips and Cody Brann – make use of the new soccer facility at the New Gloucester Fairgrounds last Friday. Erection of the goals, purchased by the New Gloucester Fairgounds Committee with funds from an anonymous donor, and field layout both took place this month, and several Patriot Soccer Club teams, comprised of kids from Gray and New Gloucester, have taken up residence there. The Patriot Soccer Club U-11 squad dropped a 4-1 decision at Yarmouth on Sunday, despite fine goaltending from Archer and a stellar goal from Roe. Courtesy photo
