The ChildrenA? ?s Room at the Scarborough Public Library is ending its celebration of Teen Read Week (Oct. 15 – 21) with an Ultimate Frisbee workshop for teens and adults.

This workshop, Saturday at 2 p.m., will explain what Ultimate Frisbee is, how it is played, what equipment is needed and how to get involved in PortlandA? ?s active Ultimate Frisbee community. Youth in Grades 6 and up, as well as interested adults, are encouraged to attend this free program.

Members of Red Tide, a traveling menA? ?s Ultimate Frisbee club based in Portland, will be on hand to demonstrate and discuss this team sport.
