Editor,
I am writing this letter in support of Mallory Shaughnessy for County Commissioner. I have known Mallory for several years and worked side by side with her on many projects. Mallory is inventive, intuitive and sees the future of Cumberland County in her everyday work. Mallory has the best interests of Cumberland County at heart. On Tuesday, Nov. 7 my vote goes to bettering our future by voting Mallory Shaughnessy for County Commissioner.
Bill Diamond also gets my vote. I have known Bill for many years, starting when he was the principal for Manchester elementary. Bill’s no-nonsense voting record and commitment to our town, the people in it and the surrounding areas leads me to believe that he is the best candidate for any job that needs to be done. Many times my father has called with issues that may be minor to the normal John Doe Senator, however, Bill takes the time every time and hears him out. Bill shows no bias when dealing with people, his commitment is to everyone not just a selected few. On Nov. 7 do the right thing and vote for William (Bill) Diamond for State Senator.
A couple of months ago, Gary Plummer came to me and asked for my support in his campaign, now I was completely torn due to having a young new candidate running against him who has bright new inventive ideas. I have supported Gary Plummer every year he has run for whatever race he has run, because Gary looks out for everyone and is a great guy. I have to admit I don’t know much about his voting record as I haven’t followed it much. However Gary has been a part of this town for years, he has shown dedication, commitment and an overall giving attitude. I certainly appreciate Gary’s commitment to our town.
