Doug Fair has been named donor relations director for the Salvation Army Northern New England Division. Based in Portland, he will oversee the new major gifts program for the division, which includes Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.

Fair previously served as development director for the Portland Symphony Orchestra for four years.

He resides in Scarborough with his wife, Kathleen Grammer.
