A poster done by students at Holy Cross School in South Portland is among seven regional finalists in the Maine Department of Transportation Backseat Driver Work Zone Safety Poster Contest.

The students are competing for a $1,000 grand prize.

Members of the public can now vote for their favorite safety poster at www.mainebackseatdriver.com to determine which school will win prize. Voting will end at midnight on Dec. 22.
