Second-graders at Scarborough’s Pleasant Hill School raised $696 for Project GRACE – all in coins. During a week-long coin drive, the classes of Nancy Bolton and Jennifer Taylor counted and sorted all the coins donated by the entire school during a math unit combined with a community services project. On Monday, Dec. 18, the students presented the money to Hope Taggart, the executive director of Project GRACE.
