The Scarborough School Committee will hold a workshop meeting to learn about the Sports Done Right program, which is a set of principles and practices for promoting healthy athletic programs and eliminating negative behaviors associated with sports.
The workshop, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, at Town Hall, will provide a chance for the school board, community services, booster clubs and members of the public to hear from a representative from Sports Done Right, in order to decide whether Scarborough would benefit from the implementation of the program.
“It’s something the whole community has to buy into,” said Scarborough Superintendent David Doyle.
