Fire and Rescue

Between March 8 and March 12, the Cape Elizabeth Rescue squad transported two patients to Mercy Hospital.

On March 8, at around 11:45 p.m., the fire department responded to smoke and water on Shore Road. On March 9, at around 8:30 p.m., the fire department responded to a fire alarm on Ocean House Road. On March 10, at around 12:30 p.m., the fire department responded to a water problem on Ocean House Road. On March 11, at around 5:00 a.m., the fire department responded to a pole fire on Ledgewood Road. On March 12, at around 5:30 p.m., the fire department responded to an oil leak at Kettle Cove.

Mailbox pharmacy

On March 8, a resident of the Mitchell Road area reported open packages of medication in the mailbox. The markings on the box were not traceable to any doctor or pharmaceutical supply company, and a check on the medication found it was not a controlled substance.
