On May 6, adult members of several Maine communities, including Windham, will have the chance to travel together on a three-day, two-night trip to Montraal, Quebec. Croissants, French Films with English subtitles and a simple French lunch will make the scenic drive via coach bus through southern Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and southern Quebec a pleasurable one. Pick-up locations will include Rockland, Topsham, Windham and Wells.

The “joie de vivre” is pervasive in the vibrant, culturally diverse and cosmopolitan city of Montraal. Whether sipping a cappuccino at an outdoor cafa, experiencing a concert or play in the Quartier Latin, or exploring historic Old Montreal, you can’t escape without experiencing the excitement and energy that pervade the entire city.

The trip includes two nights at Four Points Sheraton – Centre Ville, which features spacious rooms overlooking the beautiful city. The hotel is located in the lively downtown business district, within easy walking distance of Chinatown, museums, cathedrals, many diverse restaurants, and the famous Underground City Network. In addition, group excursions will be planned, such as a trip to the Botanical Gardens. A description and images of their wonderful facilities can be viewed at www.starwoodhotels.com/fourpoints.

When traveling together with one or more partners, the cost is $235-$275 per person (which covers the cost of hotel, bus, and breakfast and lunch during the ride to Montraal). Registration deadline is March 30. For more information and/or to register, call Windham Adult Education at 892-1819.
