Fire and Rescue

Between April 18 and April 22, the Cape Elizabeth Rescue squad transported four patients to Mercy hospital and one to Maine Medical Center.

On April 17 and 18, the fire department responded to almost 40 calls regarding weather-related problems, including 21 for water problems and six for malfunctioning alarms.

Foreign exchange

On April 19, at around 6 p.m., a resident of the Mitchell Road area reported that someone overseas had obtained his credit card and PIN information and made unauthorized charges of $811.80. He reported it to his bank.

In Dyer need

On April 20, at around 11:45 a.m., a resident of the Scott Dyer Road area reported a burglary. Reported missing from the residence was a laptop computer, a Concord watch, a bass guitar, some jewelry and loose change.
