A unique honor flag was raised at Bonny Eagle High School last week. Instead of being raised for students, the flag was raised to honor school employees, the night custodial crew.

Under the direction of team leader Jenifer Cable, for some time the night crew has been collecting cans and bottles left in the building. They have used $200 from their collection for a scholarship for a student who is part of the Foreign Language Club’s upcoming trip to Guatemala.

They will give the funds to a student who has been especially polite and cooperative with them this year. The honor flag recognized the crew for their generosity and the positive example that they have provided for others in the school.
