Fire and rescue

Between May 15 and May 21, the Cape Elizabeth Rescue squad transported three patients to Maine Medical Center and two to Mercy Hospital.

On May 16, at around 5 p.m., the fire department investigated an odor at Resolution Place.

On May 19, at around 1:15 p.m., the fire department responded to a carbon monoxide alarm on Longfellow Drive.

On May 20, at around 8:30 a.m., the fire department responded to a fire alarm on Fieldstone Road.

Hit the deck

On May 14, at around 10:30 a.m., a person mowing the lawns at the middle school reported that the lawn mower had picked up an object and propelled it through a car window. The owner of the car was identified and contacted.

Drunk as a skunk

On May 18, at around 3:50 a.m., a resident of the Broad Cove area reported subjects in the garage. An extremely intoxicated 22-year-old-male was found and removed from the area.

Cat fight

On May 18, at around 12:15 p.m., the Emergency Vet Clinic reported that a cat in the Fowler Road area had been attacked by what they believed to have been a fisher. The cat was not injured but the owners were advised to take the cat to their regular vet (Scarborough Vetrinary Hospital) for follow-up. A quarantine notice was issued to the owners of the cat.

Schwinn swipe

On May 18, at around 9 a.m., a resident of the Fowler Road area reported the theft of a bicycle. The bike was stolen in the Mitchell Road area and is described as a one-speed Schwinn bicycle with 20 inch wheels and a handbrake and is red with flames. It is valued at $100.
