Nominations are being taken for the 2007 Harold J. Boyle Scarborough High School Student Journalism Award.

Dan Warren, committee chairman, said anyone interested in nominating a Scarborough High School senior for the Boyle Journalism Award should contact him at 799-9793 or by e-mail at [email protected].

The award seeks to honor a Scarborough High senior most likely to pursue a career in journalism. The award is named after the former longtime Portland newspaper columnist,Harold J. Boyle, and was begun in 1978. The award carries with it a stipend if the winner plans to attend college in the fall.
