Brent Skillings, a 2003 graduate of Scarborough High School, has returned from Stuart, Fla., where he graduated from Airline Transport Professional Flight Academy. He completed training in single and multiple-engine aircraft and flew cross-country flights. Skilling is now a certified flight instructor and commercially rated. He plans to pursue a career in private and corporate aviation and is employed at Seacoast Aviation at the Portland International Jetport. He is the son of Terry and Doris Skillings of Scarborough.
