Scarborough’s first Trivia Bee takes place on Thursday, Nov. 1, at 7 p.m., at the Scarborough High School auditorium, when three-person teams from throughout the community will compete to see who is the smartest in town.
Teams are encouraged (but not required) to choose fun/silly names for themselves and to dress accordingly. Local personalities will serve as judges and referee. The public is invited, and refreshments will be served. Admission is free for spectators; teams will pay $300 each. All proceeds will benefit Project GRACE.
Those interested in entering a team or in sponsoring a team of civil servants or a school organization should contact Lisa Bennett at [email protected] or Sam Kelley at 883-5181.
Project GRACE is a nonprofit organization that strives to improve the lives of community members. For more information go to www.projectgracemaine.org.
