Between Nov. 19 and Nov. 26, the Cape Elizabeth Rescue squad transported seven patients to Maine Medical Center and five to Mercy Hospital.

On Nov. 21, at around 3 a.m., the fire department responded to an automobile accident on Old Ocean House Road.

On Nov. 25, the fire department responded to a fire alarm sounding on Two Lights Road.

Mystery wound

On Nov. 19, South Portland Animal Control Officer Stan Brown issued a 45-day quarantine notice to a dog belonging to a resident of the Mitchell Road area. The resident’s dog had received a wound of unknown origin. The dog’s vaccinations are current and it is being treated by a local vet.

Knapsack nabbed

On Nov. 23, at around 9 a.m., a resident of the Shore Road area reported a motor vehicle burglary. Sometime during the night, a window was broken out and a backpack was taken from the vehicle.

Blown away

On Nov. 24, at around 6 p.m, a resident of the Sawyer Road area reported a missing snowblower. The machine is a green Murray and is believed to have been taken during the past month.

Field work

On Nov. 25, an anonymous complaint was made regarding criminal mischief done to the Gull Crest soccer fields. A suspect has been named, and the case is under further investigation.
