Scott Bissonnette, of Ocean Avenue, and Paul Chantal, of Salt Spray Lane, were taken by Westbrook police on Nov. 23. Bissonette, 43, had a warrant out for his arrest///what was warrant for/// and Chantal, 54, was caught with drug paraphernalia///what?///, prison contraband///what?/// and cocaine///how much?///.

Westbrook Police Chief Bill Baker said these arrests were “symbolic of the bigger picture in Westbroook,” referring to the local drug problem.

He said there is an investigation under way, which police are “working hard at from every direction,” but cannot reveal too much about.

“There’ll be more news to come,” Baker said.
