The Scarborough Adult Learning Center and the Pine Point Center for Health Care and Rehabilitation are jointly sponsoring a free, 150-hour, 12-week certified nursing assistant training program at the Pine Point Center.

Pine Point Center, located at 67 Pine Point Road, is hosting an open house on Tuesday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. for those interested to learn more. Formal interviews and testing will take place the last week of January, with accepted students beginning training the week of Feb. 25.

Applicants must be 16 or older, possess a high school diploma or GED, in good physical and mental health, have had updated immunizations and a physical within the past year and do not abuse alcohol or drugs.
