The purpose of Lake Region Elder Network is to identify needs in the community, promote awareness of existing resources, and develop new resources for unmet needs for adults 60 and over in the Lake Region.

The next meeting of the Lake Region Elder Network is scheduled for Thursday, March 6 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Naples Municipal Building. This will be a lunch meeting and is a different time than previous meetings. The May 1 meeting will also be a lunch meeting. After May, meetings return to the 9 a.m. time.

The March 6 program includes lunch, courtesy of Bridgton Hannaford Healthy Eating on a Budget (Dona Forke, Hannaford Nutrition coordinator); then a presentation on Creating an Emergency Cell Phone program by Mary Hadlock, Social Worker intern at Southern Maine Agency on Aging.
