Otisfield residents Henry and Shirley Hamilton have spent much of their lives traveling the world as as international humanitarian aid and development professionals.

The Hamiltons will give a presentation, Afghanistan, Then & Now, on their experiences in that nation at the Casco Public Library Sunday, May 4, at 2 p.m.

Henry Hamilton served in Afghanistan and northern Pakistan in 1966-67, and both Henry and Shirley served in Afghanistan, 2002-03. The couple has also visited the area numerous times.

The Hamiltons will speak about this troubled part of the world that has had such an impact on contemporary history in the United States. In addition to a Power Point presentation they will have on display many books and artifacts from northwest Pakistan and Afghanistan.
