Two days prior to the recent opening of the new Texas Roadhouse in Scarborough, the restaurant organized a Friends and Family Night, which raised $4,620 for Project GRACE (Granting Resources and Assistance through Community Effort).

Project GRACE has earmarked the funds for its food and fuel challenge. With an initial gift of $5,000, Eddie Woodin, a Scarborough resident, challenged Project GRACE to raise an additional $25,000. The Texas Roadhouse funds bring that goal closer.

Serving more than 1,100 families since 2000, this local community-based organization offers assistance to those struggling to make ends meet.
