The Westbrook American reported on June 19, 1963, that Mr. and Mrs. Harold Charlton, Narragansett Street, and her niece, Claudia Hoyt of West Gorham, had returned from two weeks in Florida.

Agnes (Emery) Libby retired after working 17 years at S.D. Warren Co. in Westbrook. She returned to her home in Chicopee, Mass., after spending the winter in Westbrook. Co-workers gave her a surprise party and she was presented with flowers and a money gift.
