Brittney Moore of Raymond earned a associate’s degree in radiography from Champlain College in Burlington, Vt., May 3.

Alexandra A. Conroy of Windham was among 440 graduates to receive a bachelor’s degree May 25 from Bates College in Lewiston during the college’s 142nd commencement exercises.

Conroy graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in English

and sociology. She was a member of the Merimanders, Bates’ only

all-female a cappella group, and participated in the college choir’s

2008 performance of Handel’s “Messiah.” She was a dean’s list

student, and participated in the 2007 Mount David Summit, the

college’s annual celebration of academic achievement.

A 2004 graduate of Windham High School, she is the daughter of Francis and Susan Conroy of Forbes Lane.
