Argument

On June 22 at about 4:22 p.m., police responded to a residence in the Sawyer Road area for a report of a verbal argument. Police spoke to both parties involved and one left voluntarily.

Tagged

On June 23 at about 5:06 a.m., a police officer on routine patrol noticed graffiti spray-painted on the visitors’ dugout in Plaistead Park.

On June 24, at 2:54 a.m., police found several signs along Shore Road that had been tagged in red paint. In addition, the concrete pillars on either side of the Old Main Gate to Fort Williams were tagged, as were signs to Robinson’s Woods at Belfield Road Extension and Shore Road. All tagging was done in red paint.

No damage

On June 24 at 3:43 p.m., police responded to a location in the Two Lights Road are for a report of juveniles vandalizing a shed. Police checked the area and found no apparent damage to the shed. Police also learned that some neighborhood children may have had permission to be on the property in question. Police planned to contact the owner of the property.

Fence clash

On June 24 at 4:42 p.m., police met with two residents of the Scott Dyer Road area regarding a property line/fence dispute.

Between June 24 and June 30, the Cape Elizabeth Fire Department transported four people to Maine Medical Center and three people to Mercy Hospital.

On June 24 at 3:11 p.m., the fire department responded to a lightning strike on Cove View Road.

On June 25 at 10:26 p.m., the fire department responded to an activated fire alarm on Meadow Way.

On June 27 at 5:37 p.m. the fire department responded to a wire down at Birch Knolls.

On June 28 at 10:05 p.m. the fire department assisted the city of South Portland with traffic.

On June 27 at 1:59 a.m. the fire department responded to sparking wires on Albion Road.

On June 30 at 10:12 a.m. the fire department responded to a smoke detector activation on Scott Dyer Road and at 12:06 p.m. to a smoke detector on Meadow Way.

Joanne Olsen, 45, 8 Conner Drive, Westbrook, on Scott Dyer Road on a charge of speeding.

Leah Salow, 39, 39, 221 Walnut St., South Portland, on Route 77 on a charge of operating an uninspected motor vehicle.

June 27

Baird Mallory, 49, 40 Surf Road, on Shore Road on a charge of failure to produce proof of insurance.

Steven Harriman, 20 County Way, Portland, on Kettle Cove Road on a charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, operating after suspension, failure to produce proof of insurance and operating under the influence.
