Bernard carried:

Libby-Mitchell pitcher Chris Bernard is surrounded by teammates and carried off the field by Casey McKague after getting the final out in Saturday’s 4-3 win over Nova Seafood in the American Legion Zone 4 championship game. Bernard pitched a nine-inning complete game. He also had two hits, scored twice and knocked in a run. The win earned Libby-Mitchell a spot in the state tournament, which begins on Saturday in Augusta.
