On Tuesday, July 29, police met with a resident of the Scott Dyer Road area regarding a burglary that had occurred during the night. Some jewelry was reported missing.

On Tuesday, July 29, police met with a second resident of the Scott Dyer Road area regarding a burglary that had occurred during the night. Some jewelry was reported missing in the second incident as well.

Between July 29 and Aug. 4, Cape Elizbeth Fire and Rescue transported 11 people to Maine Medical Center and three people to Mercy Hospital. On July 29 at 7:49 p.m., the fire department responded to an unpermitted burn on Mitchell Road. On July 29 at 8:16 p.m., the fire department responded to an unfounded report of a gas grill fire on Ocean House Road. On Aug. 1 at 2:35 p.m., the fire department conducted a smoke investigation on Westfield Road. On Aug. 2 at 6:39 p.m., the fire department investigated a burnt electrical odor on Woodland Road. On Aug. 4 at 6 p.m. and 7:14 p.m., the fire department responded to fire alarm activations on Rocky Point Lane. On Aug. 4 at 10:25 p.m., the fire department participated in an activity in South Portland.
