Open enrollment for the Scarborough-based Mix ‘N Mingle Square Dance Club begins Sept. 25 and closes Oct. 2, with no cost to beginners.

Regular weekly Thursday classes are from 6:30 to 8 p.m., and the cost is $5 per couple. The club meets at Eight Corners Elementary School in Scarborough, though dancers are from Saco, Biddeford, Old Orchard Beach, Alfred and many other southern Maine communities.

New dancers of all ages are welcome as well as people who have danced before and would like to get back into the activity. Casual clothing is suggested and soft-soled shoes are required. The caller is Kip Moulton.
