Sparky the Firedog will make his annual visit to the Naples Public Library during preschool story time Tuesday, Sept. 16.

Members of the Naples Fire Department will be on hand to talk

about fire safety, what to do and not to do in the event of a fire, and to remind everyone to test their smoke detectors in anticipation of National Fire Prevention Week, Oct. 5-11.

During the visit, children will have a chance to hop aboard a Naples fire truck!

The Naples Public Library holds its weekly preschool story time on Tuesdays at 10:45 a.m. There is a theme for each week, with

readings and crafts to follow each theme.
