The Westbrook American reported on Sept. 18, 1963 that the Friendship Circle of the First Parish Church in Gorham planned a September fashion show. Models included Mrs. Linwood Brofee, Mrs. Kervin Ray, Mrs. Ernest Todd Jr., Debbie Alden, Sally Chandler, Gwen Ray and Penny Maddox.

Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Libby of West Buxton left on a two-week trip to Louisville, Ky., to attend an I.O.O.F. lodge meeting.
