The Cape Elizabeth Capers continue to dominate the regular season in Class B. The Capers moved to 4-0 on the season with a 34-7 win over Poland (0-4) last weekend.
The Capers were led by receiver Finn Melanson, who grabbed three of quarterback Ezra Wolfinger’s four touchdown passes in the game. Tom Foden caught the other Cape touchdown on a 61-yard pass from Wolfinger in the first quarter.
This Friday night, the Capers are home to host the Gray-New Gloucester Patriots in a 7 p.m. game. The Patriots come into the game 0-4 after losing a 30-6 decision to Fryeburg Academy last week.
Storm moves to 3-1 with win over Knights

Don’t look now, but the Scarborough Red Storm are strongly in the hunt for a playoff spot.
Just four games into the season, the Storm have already bettered last year’s 2-6 record, moving to 3-1 with an 18-6 win over Noble on Friday night.
The game was tied at six for most of the first three quarters after Zack Bean put the Red Storm on the board with a 53-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. The Storm finally broke the tie late in the third quarter when Brendan Ham scored from 16 yards out to put the Storm up 12-6.
Bean added an insurance touchdown in the fourth with a one-yard run to put the Storm up 18-6.
On Friday night, Scarborough will travel to Portland’s Fitzpatrick Stadium to face the 1-3 Bulldogs at 7 p.m. Portland comes into the game off a 34-7 loss to Deering last week.
