An Otisfield man was indicted for two counts of gross sexual assault and one count of aggravated criminal trespassing after an October incident at a home in Naples.

Thomas Nile, 24, was indicted at Cumberland County Superior Court in Portland last week. He was released on $2,000 bail Oct. 16.

A 26-year-old Naples woman, who was acquainted with Nile, reported the crime Oct. 9.

According to statements from the victim, Nile entered the woman’s house early in the morning and forced her to have sex with him.

In an interview with law enforcement agents, Nile at first claimed it was consensual, but later admitted that he knew she wanted him to stop.
