Scarborough police are searching for a man suspected of robbing the Cumberland Farms at 245 Route 1 on Sunday.

The man did not show a weapon and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash around 8 a.m. Sunday, police said. No one was injured, said Scarborough Police Chief Robbie Moulton.

Police are looking for a medium-dark to dark-skinned male about 5 feet, 8 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing between 175 and 200 pounds.

The suspect was last seen wearing an off-white, puffy winter parka with a black collar and a black square on the back, khaki cargo pants and black shoes, according to the police report. He was also wearing dark, oval sunglasses with a black nylon head cover that draped over the back of his neck, police reported.

Police are reviewing the store’s surveillance tape that shows the suspect entering the store, Moulton said.

Further information was not available at press time. Digital photos from the tape are available by e-mail. Scarborough police are asking anyone with information to contact the Police Department at 883-6361.
