Scarborough Community Services has appointed Debbie Jones to coordinate its Senior WOW program.

Jones has been working for Community Services for the past six years, the first two years for its child care program and the last four years as the recreation program coordinator.

Over the last few months, Jones has been substituting for Terri Hatt, who was battling cancer. Hatt died Jan. 24.

Like Hatt, Jones is very organized, highly motivated and a

pleasure to work with, Community Services officials say.

Ryan Colpitts will move into Jones’s previous job as recreation program coordinator. Colpitts was recreation leader for the past year. He has also coached eighth-grade boys soccer and basketball.

Community Services will not be filling the recreation leader position at this time. For more information, contact the Community Services
