Plant and gardening book sale – Saturday, May 16, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., 102 Saco St. (corner of West Valentine), Westbrook. Tenth annual plant sale to benefit Friends of Feral Felines. The majority of plants offered will be hardy perennials. Raspberry plants, annuals, a few houseplants or veggie seedlings may also be available. As a bonus this year, there will be numerous books for sale on the subjects of perennials, garden design and houseplants. The majority of these books are courtesy of the estate of Michele Kell, a master gardener and lover of cats.
Pie and plant sale – Saturday, May 16, 9 a.m.-noon, corner of Pennell and Portland roads, Buxton. To benefit the Bar Mills Community Church building fund. All plants are $3 each and there will also be garden-related items for sale.
Grange sale – Saturday, May 16, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Sabbathday Lake Grange, Sabbathday Road, New Gloucester. White elephant treasurers, cutlery, baked goods and raffles. For table rental, at $10, call Pam Dyer at 657-4612.
Annual Antique Engine & Tractor Show and food sale – Saturday, May 16, 8 a.m. Limington Historical Society Barn, Joe Webster Road – across from Mill Pond Road on Sokokis Avenue (Route 11), Limington. Maine Antique Power Association. Homemade doughnuts, pies, bread, baked beans, raffles and 50/50, and ribbons for participants. RV camping available Friday, May 15.
