The Landing Restaurant in Windham hosted a pig host and street dance festival Sunday, May 24, at the restaurant at 750 Roosevelt Trail. Around 650 revelers enjoyed the event, which began at noon with a moment of silence for all military personnel, past and present. Patrons then listened to local bands Retrospecticus and the Rustic Overtones while pit master “The Pig Kahuna” got the food ready using two pig roasting pits. “This business is our passion and we wanted to give back and do something for the region. Memorial Day weekend seemed the perfect time to do this,” said Donald Gordon, who owns The Landing Restaurant with his wife Alyssa.
