Speakers from the Coast Guard will share their stories about the SS Eagle on Thursday, July 16, at 7 p.m. at the Betsy Ross House Community Room, 99 Preble Street Extension, South Portland. Refreshments will be offered and a brief meeting of the event host, the Willard Neighborhood Association, will follow. Visitors are asked to use the entrance off Stanford Street. The Eagle is expected to visit Portland from July 31 through Aug. 3 and will be open for public boarding.
