A troupe of local youngsters ages 9 to 14 is bringing an old tale to a somewhat revised life at the Children’s Museum and Theatre of Maine.
“Cinderella” opened Thursday; its final performance is today at 1 p.m. The show, adapted by local playwright Michele Livermore Wigton, is “a little more down to earth than others,” Wigton says. The title role belongs to Christian Rowe of South Portland, a Waynflete student.
Other cast members include Bridget Fehr, Lilly Walker, Elias Grimm, Alexandra Neudek, Sebastian Grimm, Julia Swett and Michael Rivard.
