Benefit bash Monday for Chilean earthquake relief

A Portland woman with strong ties to Chile is throwing a fundraiser for earthquake relief Monday from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Nosh Kitchen Bar, 551 Congress St.

Elizabeth Horton of Simmer Public Relations lived in Chile for four years and is hosting the benefit party and photography show.

There will be music and a cash bar, and Nosh will donate a percentage of the food and beverage checks to the cause. A $5 donation at the door will go to the American Red Cross to aid victims of the Chilean earthquakes.

Chilean wine will be served, and the food will be Latin-inspired.
