When we launched the new Portland Press Herald/Maine Sunday Telegram site six weeks ago, we told you we wanted this site to be your site. We asked for your feedback – and you responded, in the hundreds.
Today, as we promised, we’re unveiling tweaks prompted by your thoughts.
Key among them: You said you wanted to see the latest news on our site at a glance, so we’re bringing back the News Updates listing. We’re pleased that so many of you visit pressherald.com multiple times throughout the day, and you’ll be able to quickly see what’s new since your last visit. We’ve also tweaked the timing of the rotating news items in the top left and made other changes to the site’s appearance.
The site is dynamic – we’ll continue to add new features and make other changes over the upcoming weeks and months.
But what won’t change is our intention to meet the needs of the community we serve. If you have an idea or see a problem or want to make a suggestion, please do by e-mailing us at [email protected]. And thank you again to the hundreds of readers who took the time to do so already.
Sincerely
Richard L. Connor
