Army Pvt. Eric C. Strehlke has recently graduated from One Station Unit Training at Fort Knox, Ky. He is the son of Valerie Strehlke of Westbrook and Robert Strehlke of Dover Foxcroft. Strehlke graduated in 1991 from Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, South Paris, and received a bachelor’s degree in 2004 from MTM Helicopters CFI, Auburn.

 

Ryan W. Pote graduated from the University of Hawaii in December and from Officers Candidate School on March 26, when he was commissioned as an officer in the Navy. Pote graduated from Greely High School, Cumberland, and now begins pilot training with the intention of flying jets in the Navy.

 

Army Sgt. Joseph R. Davenport II has returned to Fort Richardson, Anchorage, Alaska after being deployed to Afghanistan for one year. Davenport is a unit supply specialist with the 4th Airborne Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division. He is the son of Joseph R. Davenport, Standish, and Pearl Grantham, Dayton, and is a 2005 graduate of Bonny Eagle High School, Buxton.
