Jazz guitarist Charlie Hunter has been called a “marvel,” a “musical beast” and “one of the most revered guitarists in jazz.” He’s a musical innovator known for playing a seven-stringed instrument.

He’ll be in Portland Tuesday night with Michael Williams on trumpet and Eric Kalb on drums in support of his newly released album, “Gentlemen, I Neglected to Inform You You Will Not Be Getting Paid.”
