The Portland boys’ U-19 rugby team defeated Seacoast N.H., 15-3, at the Cumberland Fairgrounds to up their record to 4-0. Portland got first half tries from wing Jon Brown (Portland) and flanker and captain Tomas Callan (Portland). In the second half, Seacoast scored on a penalty closing the gap to 10-3, but just before full time, flanker Jack McDonald (Cape Elizabeth) scored off a set piece, bringing the final to 15-3. Portland plays in the Amoskeag N.H. tournament this Saturday.
