CASCO — A police cruiser collided with a moose this morning at Hams Hill Road and Route 302 in Casco.

Capt. Jeff Davis of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department said Deputy Cory Plummer was traveling west on Route 302 around 3 a.m. when a moose ran into the intersection with Hams Hill Road, striking the front, right side of the cruiser.

Plummer was not hurt and the moose ran off. No other vehicles were involved.
