OGUNQUIT — Route 1 in Ogunquit had to be shut down tonight after a fire started in the Rose Cove Cafe on Main Street.
A dispatcher for the town police department said the fire, which was reported around 8 p.m., was quickly brought under control. No one was injured.
Firefighters were still at the scene late tonight trying to determine what started the fire. The State Fire Marshal’s Office was also brought in to investigate.
Firefighters from Wells and York assisted.
