The Maine Chapter of the National Football Foundation is sponsoring free football clinics beginning Thursday at the OA Performance Center in Saco. The clinics will be held every Thursday until June 10. Registration is at 5:30 p.m., and the first speaker is at 6. Ed Mesteri, head coach at Colby, will talk about offensive line play this week. Summit Springs Golf Course in West Poland is offering a couples league at 5 p.m. on Sundays, beginning June 6. The Bicycle Coalition of Maine will hold its annual pizza party and fundraiser at Flatbread Pizza Co. in Portland from 5-9 p.m June 15. Proceeds from every pizza and beer sold during the evening will support the coalition’s work to improve bicycling in Maine.
