The Maine Red Claws will hold a Jr. Red Claws basketball camp and academy for girls and boys ages 8-15 at the Portland Expo July 26-30. Next Level Basketball Camp is accepting applications for the 2010 dates at Colby College. The traditional overnight camps will run June 27-July 1 and July 11-15. The team camp will take place June 25-27 and a new day camp this year, “Bitty Ballers,” will run July 6-9 and is open to boys and girls ages 5-8. All-inclusive tuition for overnight camp is $475, team camp is $200 and “Bitty Ballers” day camp is $100 per camper. Waynflete School cross country coach Brian “Ziggy” Gillespie will lead a cross country camp for boys and girls ages 10-18, scheduled for July 6-9 at the school.
