Sure, there were sparks and a lot of neigh-sayers at the the Ossipee Valley Fair on Saturday, but they just added to the friendliness of this “friendliest of fairs” in South Hiram village.
The sparks came from the forge where a blacksmith demonstrated his trade, and the neigh-sayers each had four legs, a mane and a tail.
Oh, some rain showed up, too, but it dampened only the grounds, not fairgoers’ spirits. The fair continues today.
