It was a perfect day for racing, and not such a bad day to watch a race, either, as competitors and spectators alike enjoyed ideal weather for the 13th TD Bank Beach to Beacon 10K. Overall winner Gebre Gebremariam of Ethiopia and women’s division winner Lineth Chepkurui of Kenya led a field of more than 5,600 runners who participated in this year’s race.

Catherine Jalbert of Brewer and Craig Blanchette of Battle Ground, Wash., were the female and male winners in the push wheelchair division. Blanchette beat three-time champion Patrick Doak with a time of 24:12, and Jalbert finished in1:29:50.
