Paul Doiron, editor-in-chief of Down East magazine, will talk about his debut novel, “The Poacher’s Son,” a thriller set in rural Maine. The story focuses on an estranged son pulled into the search for a fugitive murder suspect – his father. Doiron will be speaking as part of the Portland Public Library’s Brown Bag Lecture series, so bring your lunch if you like.
